Well I don't know. I don't have any contact with the american publisher.
And the actual US illustrator is very famous. So I think that it's a little like a brand. You can't change after so many years because a lot of people won't recognize the news covers as their serie.
When an Honor Harrington book is released, I guess that buyers are looking for this kind of cover.
I think that it won't be very good for the sales if they change now.

I think I've said this before, but just in case I haven't., you ships are the most accurate ones I've ever seen short of the offical pictures in Jayne's Intelligence Review. Even then, your ships look much cooler than the ones in that book.
The explosions look very realisitic and add nice warm colors to what would otherwise be mostly cool colors.
I also love the debris and the way it leads my eyes around the artwork.
I always thought your covers looked hyper realistic, and this looks like you were actually at the battle and took a picture. Please keep up the good work, I always look forward to seeing your covers whenever I hear another book is coming out.
And yes, you've already said your opinion about my spaceships. But now, I'm really, really sure that I'm on the right way. On my two first covers, I've received a lot of criticisms about them. So, it's cool to see that I've solved this problem
For your information, I'm working on the cover of "More than Honor". It will be very different from my previous covers of the Honorverse
